Himachal BSC Nursing Counselling schedule has been released by Atal Medical Research University. With the release of this schedule, a proper timetable is now known when Round 1 and Round 2 of counselling will be conducted, by when the seat allocation will be completed, and on which dates the candidates who have been allotted seats will have to go for document verification.

AMRU BSc Nursing Counselling Eligibility

For admission to government and private colleges in BSc Nursing, it is mandatory to appear for counselling . There are certain eligibility criteria for counselling, and if a candidate do not fulfil these criteria, they will not be able to participate in counselling and will not be allotted a seat. The eligibility criteria are given below-

• Candidate must have passed their 12th from CBSE, State board or any other government recognized institution.
• It is necessary that for state quota seats candidate must have Himachal domicile certificate
• Minimum age of the candidate is 17 years as on 31st December 2025
• Candidate must have passed their 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 45% for General category and 40% for other reserved categories.
• Only those candidates can participate in counselling who have obtained the minimum required percentile or above.
• Candidate must be medically fit.

Himachal BSc Nursing Counselling 2025 Schedule

Every round is treated separately, and once it starts, its own guideline comes into effect. The counseling would go like this:

• Round 1 Counseling: Choice filling, category-wise seat allotment, reporting to colleges.
• Round 2 Counselling: Fresh choice filling, upgradation allowed, unfilled reserved seats converted as per rules.
• Mop-up Round: Final round for vacant seats; upgradation allowed only from private to government colleges.
• Stray Vacancy Round: Held only if required for remaining seats.

AMRU BSc Nursing Counselling Process

AMRU BSC Nursing counselling process will be conducted online. It will include Round 1 and Round 2 of counselling, and if any seats remain vacant, a mop up or stray round is conducted afterwards .The complete details of the things that are taken into consideration are given below-

• Counselling process is completely conducted in online mode
• The choice filling process is separately done for each round
• Candidate who are allotted a seat receive a provisional allotment letter, which they must download
• It is mandatory for candidates who have been allotted a seat to report physically with their original documents and keep 4-5 photocopies of each documents.
