This job is for Registered Nurses who want to work in the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. The main work is to check health problems of patients and their families, guide the nursing team and make plans for the best treatment. Registered Nurse Jobs Responsibilities
- Provide wound care and apply dressings as per doctor orders.
- Document all patient care properly using FOCUS charting format.
- Follow all safety rules for patients at risk of suicide, falls or skin problems.
- Stay alert during emergencies like Code Blue, perform CPR, give medicines on time and stay calm.
- Give correct medicines by following the 5 rights of medication administration.
- Manage IV therapy, fluids and treatments only under doctor orders.
- Check and use medical machines like IV Pump, Glucoscan, PCA Pump, Feeding Pump, Defibrillator etc
- Report any changes in patient health condition immediately.
- Always make sure equipment is working properly before using it.
