There are 3 overall rounds of counselling that is Round 1,Round 2 and Round 3 to fill the vacant seats of counselling. In a few cases some students left over the seats and if any seat remains vacant,an open round of counselling will be organised in an offline mode.The first three rounds will be held online through the official website of AIIMS.

- Online Registration for counselling – Visit the official website www.aiimsexams.ac.in
- AIIMS Choice filling and locking – After registration fill your preferences of AIIMS institutes(eg AIIMS Delhi, Jodhpur etc.)
- Seat allotment – AIIMS will process seat allotment based on your rank in the merit list and category and choice preferences.
