Duties & Responsibilities as a Staff Nurse
Your role as a Staff Nurse will be to provide professional nursing care under supervision. - Work with the health team to plan comprehensive care programs.
- Teach and guide new nursing staff.
- Participate in conferences to improve nursing practices.
Who Can Apply? (Minimum Qualifications)
To qualify you need-
- A valid New York State RN license (Registered Nurse license)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association
Fresh graduates can also apply if they have completed a nursing program approved by the New York State Education Department and have applied for their RN license. They can work under supervision for 90 days while waiting for their limited permit.
