NEET Counselling 2025 Overview
NEET counselling 2025 is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) that came under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and also by state counselling authorities. NEET counselling is conducted for getting admission to
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) Seats in government colleges.

NEET Counselling is conducted by two authorities
- Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)-It conducts counselling for AIQs ,AIIMS,JIPMER and Deemed universities 15% AIQs seats in all government medical and dental colleges across India. It also conducts counselling for 100% seats in deemed and central universities.
- State Counselling-It conducts counselling for 85% state quota and private medical colleges within the state. 85% seats counselling for government medical college will be conducted by state counselling authority and for state counselling state domicile rules and reservation policies will be applied.
NEET 2025 Counselling Eligibility Criteria
If any candidate want to participate in counselling process then he/she must
- Qualify NEET -UG 2025 by scoring minimum cutoff percentile that is 50th Percentile for general and 40th Percentile for SC,ST,OBC.
- Candidate should be at least 17 years of age before 31st December 2025
- Each and every state have different eligibility criteria set by respective states or institutions.

NEET Counselling 2025 Process
- Online Registration – Visit the official counselling portal (MCC or State) and create an account using NEET roll number and other details upload your scanned documents mentioned and do pay your counselling fee and security deposit(refundable) .
- Choice Filling – Select your college preference wisely according to your rank and score. You can select many colleges but make sure to lock choices before deadline.
- Seat Allotment result – MCC and state authorities will release the result according to candidates rank and choice filling.
- Reporting and Admission – If candidate get a seat ,then you have to report to the allotted college physically with your documents and fee.
- Upgradation and further rounds – If candidate is not satisfied with their college, then you can also participate in further counselling rounds for upgradation.
